Sets at building numbers 7140, 7164, 7167 and 7169 located at Campbell
Airfield. Upgrade exisiting Transfer Switches, Power Supplies, Exhaust
Systems as required. Install new Fuel Tank(Built-in) for generators at
building numbers 7140, 7167, and 7169. Disconnect exisiting power
lines at main control switches of exisiting generators and upgrade with
new wires in exisiting conduits(Partly New) as required. Repair
exisiting Grounding System as NEC, 1996 and install new ones, if
required. Test exisiting ground stations, ground wires and bond wires
at each generator room and repair exisiting or install new ones, if
required. Install new Emergency Generators at building number 1043,
1199, 1230, 4355, 4964,5005, A6643, 7172, and 7271. Furnish new
switches, power supplies, exhaust systems, etc.,as required. Provide
complete wiring with THHN wires in rigid metal conduit on surface or
underground from main control panel to generator switches, control
boxes, etc and install new grounding in accordance with requirments of
NEC, 1997. Install new Fuel Tanks with those machines as recommended
by the manufacturers. Special Requirements: A metal housing shall be
required for transfer switch, control panel, etc., at building numbers
A6643 and 7271. A concrete pad shall be constructed for all
generators. Estimated range for this project is $1,000.000 to
$5,000,000. Award of this contract is subject to the availability of
funds. This acquisition will be issued pursuant to the "Business
Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" and subsequent award will
be subject to the Small Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
Therefore this acquisition if unrestricted; however, solicitation will
contain an evaluation preference for SDB concerns. For the purpose of
determining small business size status, the average receipts of a
concern and its affiliates for the proceding three fiscal years must
not exceed $7 millions, SIC 1796 and 1731. Fort Campbell Directorate of
Contracting is testing the useof Internet for issuing and advertising
