The US Navy has a requirement for the fabrication of the following Railroad supplies: 6 each #10 Railway frogs; 6 each #8 Railway frogs; 2 each #6 Railway frogs; 12 pair of Guardrail; 10 each Switch stands; 100 Switch plate Assemblies. All materials to be fabricated in accordance with specifications and drawings. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 3743 and the size standard is 500 employees or less. Delivery is required FOB NAVSURFWARCENDIV, Crane, IN, December 1997. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the most advantageous to the Government. The responses will be evaluated on the following factors: Past performance for the same/similar items and price. The contractor shall provide past performance with other Government Agencies, public or local Government for the past three years.
