This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Sub part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is N68936-97-Q-2558 and is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. Following are the specifications for each Item: Item Number 0001, 1 Each -- Data Bus Recorder, Model BR100 and 1 Each -- F/A-18 Mounting Kit. Delivery is required on or before December 12, 1997 to NAWS China Lake, CA, FOB Destination. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and there are no addenda to the provision. Offeror must include a completed copy of Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with his offer. Clause 52.212-4, Commercial Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and there are no addenda to this clause.
