This acquisition is for renewal of software license/maintenance support of software products Open Link software DDN/MVS with P9000 package and Open Line/MVS ACF2 Security Interface with Network Solutions, Inc. at DMC Huntsville. Open Link Software, DN/MVS Package and P9000 P/N11700B Group 40 (2 cys) AMDAHL 5890-600E S/N's 510994 and 510822. Open Line/MVS ACF2, Security Interface Product, P/N 11700J (2 cys) Group 40, AMDAHL, 5890-600e, S/N's 510994 and 510822. Period of performance for the maintenance is 1 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest within 15 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
