Niklich, 618-256-9561 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Integrated Communications Solutions, Inc., 5300 Westview Drive, Suite 404, Frederick MD 21703, for the acquisition of hardware/software maintenance for the following proprietary products: APERTUS SYSTEMS. This acquisition is for renewal of hardware/software license/maintenance support of Apertus Systems, 3 each, located at DMC Columbus. Model 5020 SS 0681; Model 5020 SS 0662, Model 5020 SS 0669 -- all are 24x7 coverage. Period of performance for the maintenance is 1 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest within 15 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
