Silver, 202-283-1347 The IRS has a requirement to purchase one copy of a COTS software development tool to produce context sensitive on-line help across a variety of computer operating platforms. The software must be able to deliver on-line help across a variety of platforms including DOS, OS/2, Windows 3x, Windows 95, Windows NT, Unix, CICS and IMS (mainframe). The software development environment should be Windows 95 or Windows NT. The Contractor shall provide technical support service to develop and implement the pilot for a single system. The IRS intends to contract with Information Mapping, Inc., Waltham, Massachusetts because their Assistware software in the only product which will develop context sensitive help across the platforms used by IRS. The IRS will evaluate all capabilities statements received prior to Aug 8, 1997 in response to this notice. (0206)
