The US Navy has a requirement for the designing of and fabrication of a walk-in batch oven to be fabricated in accordance with specifications and drawings. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 3312 and the size standard is 1,000 employees or less. Delivery is required 15 October 1997, FOB NAVSURFWARCENDIV, Crane, IN 47522-5001. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the most advantageous to the Government. The responses will be evaluated on the following factors: Past performance for the same/similar items, technical compliance and price. The contractor shall provide past performance with other Government Agencies, public or local Government for the past three years. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply.
