Department of Transportation, Research and Special Programs
Administration (RSPA), Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) is issuing a
Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the pilot testing of the creation,
operation, and maintenance of a state repository for the National
Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) from state agencies only. A complete
copy of the RFQ and accompanying Statement of Work can be obtained
electronically at the following RSPA internet site:
www.rspa.dot.gov/rspa/contracts.html. A hard copies of the RFQ is
available upon written (fax or email) request. NOTE 1: This acquisition
is restricted to offers from State agencies only. NOTE 2: RFQ No.
DTRS56-97-Q-0014 was issued on July 3, 1997 soliciting quotations from
Industry for the pilot testing of the NPMS, and was published in an
electronic format in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) on July 3, 1997
and in a print version in the July 8, 1997 issue of the CBD, proposals
are due on August 11, 1997. Under RFQ No. DTRS56-97-Q-0015 for state
pilottesting of the NPMS, RSPA intends to award up to twelve (12), firm
fixed price, purchase orders using the Simplified Acquisition
Procedures of FAR Part 13. Proposals are due on or before August 25,
1997. This notice is intended for competitive purposes. You may E-mail
