The Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC), in support of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Information Management to include CONUS and OCONUS activities, as well as other Government agencies intends to issue a solicitation to acquire contractor services to perform a complete array of technical support services to include but are not limited to: software systems design, analysis, re-use, development, testing, maintenance, extension, and installations; document imaging and conversion; configuration/risk management, process engineering/modeling, economic/feasibility analysis, system documentation and training; sustainment and deployment functions; project management support; telecommunication, security of information systems, and year 2000 software issues. The project entitled, Umbrella Information Technology Total Solutions (U-ITTS), is to establish solution based contracts with industry partners. The Government anticipates multiple awards of IDIQ contracts, a portion of which will be set-aside for Small Business. The period of performance will be for one year with four option years. The solicitation will be released approximately August 29, 1997.
