The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires the services of a contractor to provide a range of direct and advisory services in occupational medicine for the Office of Hearings and Appeals, Health Unit, located in Falls Church, VA -- NTE 490 hours. The contractor shall provide three hours of service each Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday during regular Government business hours, for a total of 468 fixed hours, the remaining 22 hours shall be requested on an as-needed basis. Competitive pricing will be solicited and accepted. The period of performance shall be one year from either the date of award or December 2, 1997, Whichever is later, with provisions for the inclusion of four one-year renewable option periods. Solicitation Number SSA-RFP-98-3230 is scheduled for release on or about August 15, 1997, with proposals due 30 days later. Requests for the RFP should be received no later than 15 days after the date of this publication. No telephone requests for the RFP will be honored. This requirement is a 100% small- business set-aside. Proposals received from other than a small business will be deemed unacceptable and given no further consideration.
