(404) 635-5640. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting for
Pharmacy Technician services for the Federal Detention Center, 33 N.E.
4th Ave., Miami, Florida. The work schedule will consist of five (5)
sessions per week, each session will last six (6) hours, not to exceed
thirty (30) hours per week. All sessions will be conducted from Monday
through Friday. The contractor will be responsible for the following:
interpreting physician and physician assistant prescription orders;
entering the prescription orders into the pharmacy computer and
printing prescription labels; selecting the correct medication and
preparing the prescription for the pharmacist to verify; maintain
inventory of medications and supplies; entering data for medications
and supplies in the prime vendor computer system; dispensing,
administering and recording entries for the required medications prior
to approval by the pharmacist. The anticipated period of performance
will be as follows: one base year to begin upon date of award through
12 months with four subsequent one year option periods. This
