U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE INDUSTRY COMMUNICATIONS DAY SUBJECT: U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE INDUSTRY COMMUNICATIONS DAY Industry Communications Day will take place from 8:30 to 4:00 on August 4, 1997 at the Bureau of the Census in Suitland, Maryland. The Keynote Speaker will be Ralph C. Nash, Jr., Professor Emeritus of Law at The George Washington University. Last year the Department of Commerce introduced its Reengineered Acquisition Process -- CONOPS. Now we are ready to present the results of actual experience in using the new process from both the Industry and Government perspectives. We will also use this opportunity to receive additional feedback from Industry and to present information about the future of CONOPS. There is no registration fee.
