Wilcox-DuBois, 312/669-5974 The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of a one-story masonry and steel building of approximately 24,900 sq. ft. and an attached 2,850 sq. ft. open air loading platform with a roof. Work to include civil, structural, architectural, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, electrical, and security systems. The site is approximately 5.0 acres. On-site work to include site clearing, site cut/fill, and regrading, new underground electric, telephone, and gas utility lines, storm detention and drainage system, site lighting, site fencing and gates, asphalt and concrete vehicular paving, concrete curb/gutters and sidewalks, landscaping, and all necessary design, engineering, and construction required for all building and site amenities. Construction cost range: $1,800,000 to $2,000,000. Construction completion time will be three hundred (300) calendar days from the date of receipt of Notice to Proceed.
