Wilcox-DuBois, 312/669-5974 The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of a new Main Post Office of approximately 35,000 sq. ft. on a 8.5 acre site. The work shall include all materials, labor, tools, plant, supplies, equipment, material and equipment transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the design and construction for all required building and site amenities. Construction cost range: $3,000,000 to $3,500,000. Construction completion time will be three hundred sixty (360) calendar days from the date of receipt of Notice to Proceed. Evaluation factors in addition to price and time are as follows: 1. General Experience and 2. Performance on past postal projects, if applicable.
