SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking bidders for the Contractor to provide the necessary personnel, facilities, materials, equipment required for the removal, replacement, modification of three (3) underground fuel tanks (one 10,000 gallon tank, one 1,500 gallon tank single wall steel tanks) and the modification of one 10,000 gallon double wall tank, all associated piping, backfilling and grading disturbed areas, pouring concrete tank pads and new turf installation. Electrical work include taking power from the building panels to provide electrical circuit for leak detection for the underground fuel tanks. Special requirements include independent testing company to perform laboratory analysis of the soil under/around the existing underground fuel tanks required for tank closure. Rock excavation and contaminated soil is anticipated in the work. Prospective contractors are required to possess a Virginia Contractors License to submit a bid in response to the solicitation. A prequote conference and site visit will be scheduled, specific date and time to be identified in the solicitation. The total period of performance is 300 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The Government's estimated price range for this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This procurement is being issued as a small business set-aside. A firm-fixed-price construction contract is anticipated to be awarded.
