Santiago, Contracting Specialist, 302 677-5225 The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and all other items or services necessary to add a cast iron roof drainiage system to the Services Facility, Building 124 at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. The project consists essentially of, but not limited to, modification of the standing seam metal roof to accommodate the new drainage system. The work shall include an addition to the roof with galvanized pre-finished metal gutters, pre-cast existing roofing system to accomplish the work. The retrofit roof framing system manufacturer (American Building Company) will be consulted for fastening into the existing purlins and providing new purlins to match the existing. The roofing shall fully adhered to the EPDM roofing system by Carlisle or approved equal and must match the existing roofing systems. New cast iron piping shall maintain a minimum 1.04% slope. The roof drain shall be Zurn Model Z-100 main roof drain, Dura-Coated cast iron with combination membrane flashing clamp/gravel guard and low silhouette Poly-Dome or approved equal. All additions must match the color of the existing standing seam metal roof or the adjacent surface. Building 124 is currently occupied by Services personnel and will be occupied during the renovation. This solicitation is a request for quotation. Quotations under this acquisition are solicited from emerging small business concerns only. Offers that are not an emerging small business shall not be considered and shall be rejected. "Emerging small business," means a small business concern whose size is no greater than 50 per cent of the numerical size standard applicable to the standard industrial classification code assigned to a contracting opportunity. The standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1761. The performance period is 90 days. The magnitude is under $25,000.00.
