new pitched standing seam metal roof system over existing EPDM roofing
system after removal of ballast. New metal roofing system shall
include framing members attached to existing roof structure, gutters
and downspouts, and metal siding at gables and certain walls. Existing
mechanical systems shall be extended through metal roofing system.
Masonry work will be required at top of some existing walls and for new
canopy construction. Existing storm water collection system shall be
extended to include every downspout. Minimal patching to asphalt
parking areas will be required. Provide new HVAC system replacement for
existing HVAC system consisting of removal of existing system in its
entirety. New system shall utilize a water source heat pump and include
a makeup air system. New lay-in ceiling tiles and replacement of
lighting fixtures are also included. Some structural modifications will
be required to support new equipment on existing structure. An additive
alternate item will include the furnishing and installing of new lights
in lieu of reinstalling existing lights. SIC code is 1761/$7 million.
The estimated dollar range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
Performance period is 365 calendar days. This acquisition is issued
pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988"
and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is
unrestricted; however, solicitation will contain an evaluation
preference for SDB concerns. Fort Campbell Directorate of Contracting
(DOC) is testing the use of the Internet for advertising and issuing
