The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to issue a cost plus fixed-fee delivery order against Blanket Ordering Agreement DAAJ09-95-G-0018 with Boeing Defense & Space Group for integration of an Improved Magnetostrictive Torquemeter (IMT) onto MH-47E helicopters, ECP E033. The IMT was developed by Allied Signal Aerospace for use on T55-GA-714A engines. In accordance with the ECP, Boeing will provide a kit which contains all airframe parts and detailed instructions necessary to install the IMT kit onto the airframe. A cost plus fixed feel effort is contemplated. A flight test will be performed to verify that the kit developed by Boeing meets the Government's minimum objectives. The intended source is Boeing Defense and Space Group, Helicopters Division. Boeing developed and manufactured the MH-47E and MH-47D helicopters. Boeing possess requisite engineering expertise and technical data to develop the IMT integration kit. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. See Note 22. (0209)
