The EPA intends to issue a draft solicitation on or around July 31, 1997. NO PROPOSALS ARE DESIRED AS A RESULT OF THIS DRAFT SOLICITATION. The draft will be issued for the purpose of obtaining comments from potential offerors, and will be available for comment until approximately August 15, 1997. The draft solicitation will be available via the Internet World Wide Web at http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. Firms are encouraged to access the draft solicitation via Internet. Firms who do not have the capability to obtain the draft solicitation from Internet, may submit a written request for a diskette with the draft solicitation in WordPerfect 6.1 format from the contact point at the address above -- however only those firms who do not have the capability to obtain the draft solicitation from the Internet should request diskettes. EPA anticipates the award of multiple indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity with fixed prices contracts as a result of the solicitation. It is currently anticipated that the final solicitation will be issued on or around October 30, 1997, with proposals due thirty days later. Contract award is planned for March 31, 1998.
