A -- MODIFICATION TO DEVELOPMENT OF AN ADVANCED CHANNEL SIMULATOR POC Michael Jackson, Negotiator, (703)325-9211, Edward L. Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028 The proposed work is a modification of DSWA Contract Number DNA001-93-C-0169. The purpose of the modification is to outline the added schedule and technical requirements to add the capability to support narrowband frequency-hopping communications systems to the Advanced Channel Simulator (ACS). The contractor will design and fabricate two flat-fading channel simulator modules for use with the ACS. These modules shall support testing of MILSTAR terminals and the Universal Modem System. DSWA plans to award a sole source contract modification to Mission Research Corporation, 735 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93102. DSWA believes that MIssion Research Corporation is the only source possessing the existing RDT&E expertise to adapt this specific requirement to meet this program requirement within the time required by DSWA and available funding. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform this requirement. See Note 22.
