D -- PROVIDE CANON, USA MAINTENANCE FOR 2 BJ2436 LARGE FORMAT COPIERS, 5 COLORPASS 4000'S, 4 CLC800'S AND 4 CLBP36OPS PRINTERS SOL F49642-98-Q-0007 DUE 090897 POC Point of Contact -- Nannie Goldring, Contract Specialist, (202) 404-1219 The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure a sole source Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Canon, USA, Inc. 2110 Washington Blvd, Suite 150, Arlington, VA 22204-5799, to provide the Director of Operations, National Military Command System (NMCS), Pentagon, Washington, DC with Canon, USA maintenance for 2 BJ2436 Large Format Copiers, 5 ColorPass 4000's, 4 CLC 800's and 4 CLBP360PS Printers. This procurement is necessary to provide maintenance that ensures the Canon copiers and peripherals can maintain operational readiness at all times. The contractor shall ensure that all equipment is in good operating conditions. This maintenance will be in support of Canon Large Format copiers, Color Laser Copiers with peripherals and printers when they aren't functioning properly. The copiers have already been purchased, are operational, and require maintenance support, which can only be provided with Canon compatible equipment and support personnel. The unique maintenance requirements of the NMCC dictate that such service is on hand and available at all times to ensure that the Joint Staff can execute the decision making process as efficiently as possible, without having to be concerned with copiers and printers failure. The contractor shall provide a toll free number for the maintenance point of contact. The Request for Quotation (RFQ), is expected to be released 8 Aug 97, with quotations due 30 days thereafter. Firms requesting a copy of the RFQ must identify the RFQ number given above. No telephone requests will be accepted.
