The Job Corps Centers located in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington require the Outreach, Screening and Enrollment of approximately 2,390 students (1,561 males and 829 females), from the States of Idaho and Washington to participate in training. The Program is designed to provide educational, vocational, avocational and support services to youth 16 thru 24 years of age in a residential setting. Placement services shall also be provided to approximately 2,100 Job Corps terminees returning to the States of Idaho and Washington. RFP Number JC-RX-97-01 will be issued approximately August 25, 1997. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled to be held on September 3, 1997, in the Eighth Floor Conference Room, Room 850, 1111 Third Avenue, Seattle, Washington, at 9:00 a.m., Local Time. Proposals must be received no later than 12:00 Noon, Local Time, October 15, 1997, at the place designated for receipt of offers. It is expected that the resultant contract will cover the period March 1, 1998, through February 28, 1999, plusfour governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each.
