Provide professional medical services in the specialty of a licensed physician board certified in Gastroenterology to the inmates who are incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution, 5701 8th Street, Camp Parks, Dublin, CA 94568. Proficiency in the following procedures are required: Diagnosis and treatment of chronic liver disease and liver biopsy, diagnosis and treatment of gallbladder disease, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, proficiency in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, and diagnosis and treatment of other referred patients with conditions that would normally be treated by an Gastroenterologist in the community. RFQ 8-0006 will be issued on or about July 30, 1997. Services will be required from the date of award or October 1, 1997, whichever is later for the base year, with four (4) one-year option periods.
