Proficiency in the following procedures are required: Laproscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repair, sigmoidoscopy, minor surgical procedures under local anesthesia, and evaluation and management of other referred conditions that would be treated by a general surgeon in the community. RFQ 8-0001 will be issued on or about July 30, 1997. Services will be required from the date of award or October 1, 1997, whichever is later for the base year, with four (4) one-year option periods.
