R -- REVISE THE MANUAL ON NUTRITION MANAGEMENT OF THE PREGNANT ADOLESCENT SOL HRSA-97-MCHB-H0821A DUE 081497 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health, Division of Epidemiology, 1300 South Second Street, Minneapolis, MN, 55454-1015. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to provide service to revise the Manual on Nutrition Management of the Pregnant Adolescent: A Practical Reference Guide. The contractor shall: contact individual writers and reviewers to develop chapters of the book, provide various drafts and revisions, provide the final manual, and provide laminated cards/pocket size summmary books. The University of Minnesota is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is ten and one half months.
