20 -- DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING, AND MANUFACTURE OF SUPPLIES FOR R UPRADING AND/OR REPLACING NAVY TOWED SENSOR SYSTEMS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT USED ON SUBMARINES, SURFACE SHIPS, AND SURVEILLANCE SHIPS SOL N00024-97-R-6239 POC Michael Iseman/Code 02621M; Jeffre Thrasher/Code 02625; telephone e (703) 602-7703 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking sources for the e design, development, testing, and manufacture of supplies for use in upgrading and/or replacing existing Navy towed systems. These towed systems interface with various shipboard sonar and combat systems on various classes of US Navy submarines, surface ships, and surveillance ships. The "towed systems" include sensor arrays, towed cables, mechanical handling equipment, signal paths, in board electronics interfacing equipment; ancillary hardware, software, and firmware; and related test equipment.
