This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation -- RFQ No. 100288. The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 5012. The small business size standard is 100. This requirement is a total small business set aside. The Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) Office of Facilities, Acquisitions and Central Services has a requirement for two (2) diesel powered utility carts. Carts shall have the following items: 1) enclosed cab; 2) windshield wipers; 3) steel doors; 4) heater/defroster; 5) front and rear bumpers; 6) front and rear brakes; and 7) tires suitable for on- and off-road use. Delivery shall be made FOB Destination to Food and Drug Administration/OFACS/DRPM/Building Operations Branch, Beltsville Facilities Section, Module One, 8301 Muirkirk Road, Room 1101, Laurel, MD 20708.
