This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP), Solicitation Number F0561197R0718. This is a notice of intent to negotiate a contract with MTS Systems Corp., One North Parkway, suite B, Colorado City, Co. 81019. Description: Item No. 0001 Servohydraulic Test System: MFG.: MTS Systems Crop., model 810.23S, 250kn (55,000) load unit, Fatigue rating 55000 lbs. with 6" of stoke, perform tensile, compression, fatigue (both low and high cycle), crack growth, K1c and life spectrum test, linear variable displacement transducer for accurate head placement, load cell fatigue rated at 55,000 lbs., Hydraulic manifold to interface with MTS pump. Computer controlled with signal conditioners to control the load cell, the actuator and extensometer bare minimum,provide written test programs, grips to hold test specimens, fracture mechanics grips and clevis grips of various size ratings, hydraulic lifts, hydraulic crosshead locks, emergency stop and adapter, cross locks, columns for standard test space, 5 port high response servovalve, 318.25 load frame label, attachment kit, provide all necessary cables, hoses, standard on site training (8 hours) and installation.
