FLORES, (202)231-2151 This modification of a previously modified synopsis, submitted on 07/25/97, corrects the title to"Automated Copystands for Digitizing 5" Roll Film," and is intended to modify the synopsis originally published on May 30, 1997 for Digital Autofocus Stations (DAS), Purchase Request Number 436/0040Z/97. The Virginia Contracting Activity of the Defense Intelligence Agency has issued solicitation MDA908-97-R-0034 for for Automated Copystands for Digitizing 5" Roll Film. This synopsis significantly modifies the Government's requirements. The Government has intended to issue a commercial contract for the following commercial, stocked-listed items: satellite scanner stands, light sources, and Kodak cameras with rotating mount option. Each unit will consist of the satellite floor standing stand, the motorized rotary camera option for Kodak megaplus camera, a starlite 55 closed loop light source, a density probe, a 35mm half glass negative carrier, a film transport, a lens adapter, an 80mm lens, and a software upgrade for manual focus counters. Also to be provided are installation and training (approximately three days) and a satellite spare parts kit. Anticipated date of award is on or before September 30, 1997, with delivery on or before six weeks after contract award.
