76 -- HACCP: THE HAZARD ANALYSIS CRITICAL CONTROL POINT MANUAL SOL FSIS-42-W-97 DUE 081597 POC Contact Point, Julie Adams, (202) 720-9891 The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to award a purchase order to Food Marketing Institute, 800 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20006, for the purchase of 400 copies of "HACCP, The Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Manual." This manual is a guide to the dangers of foodborne illness and is designed for in-store use at the soup and salad bar and deli/restaurant and seafood departments. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT AVAILABLE. Food Marketing Institute is the only known source for providing this manual. All interested concerns must identify their interest in writing and fully document their capability to meet the agency's requirements by forwarding a detailed response by August 15, 1997. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to 202-690-1814. All proposals from responsible sources will be considered by the Agency. If no affirmative written response is received by August 15 to determine that a comparable source is available, or is more advantageous to the Government, negotiations will take place with Food Marketing Institute.
