C -- A/E SERVICES -- RENOVATE 2N & 3N FOR NHCU SOL 438-387 DUE 090597 POC Janie L. Nordling, Contracting Officer, 605-333-6819 Contractor to provide full A/E services including schematics, design development, construction documents and construction period services at VA Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD for Project No. 438-387, Renovate 2N & 3N for NHCU. Scope of construction includes complete demolition of existing space and construction of a two-floor addition to a portion of the back side of the hospital building. The newly created space will accommodate care of the terminally ill with palliative care, rehabilitation with a full scope of Rehab services and select adult day health care services for approximately 50 patients. Included will be knowledge of current VA space, function,HVAC, handicap and patient privacy standards, NFPA 101, Life Safety Code and NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities. Mechanical and electrical modifications are also included. Construction cost range between $2 and 5 million. Area of consideration limited to 350-mile radius of Sioux Falls, SD.
