(FEDLINK) is a cooperative program of the Federal Library and
Information Center Committee (FLICC). FEDLINK offers federal agencies
the opportunity to enhance the information resources available to meet
the requirements of its personnel. Using FEDLINK service contracts,
federal agencies obtain services directly from commercial sources.
These contracts offer substantial volume discounts not otherwise
available to individual customers. FEDLINK operates under the Library
of Congress Delegation of Procurement Authority (DPA) granted from the
GSA. Arrangements for initiation and payments for services are
governed by an interagency agreement (IAG) executed by the Corps of
Engineers and FEDLINK. The Corps' IAG No. is 97-690854.00-AEDL. Four
delivery orders will be issued for the period 1 Oct 97 through 30 Sep
98 under this FEDLINK IAG: 1. West Publishing Co. P.O. Box 64833 St.
Paul, MN 55164-1803 Services to be acquired: Westlaw Online Information
Retrieval Servicesand West CD-ROM Information Services, inclusive of
all subscription fees, network time, connect time, printing and access
charges. 2. Lexis/Nexis 1050 Connecticut Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
Services to be acquired: Lexis/Nexis Online Information Retrieval
Services, inclusive of all subscription fees, network time, connect
time, printing and access charges. 3. Legi-Slate, Inc. 777 N. Capital
Street, Washington, D.C. 20002 Services to be acquired: Current USC and
Daily CFR Online time, connect time, printing and access charges. 4.
Congressional Quarterly, Inc. 1414 22nd Street N.W. Washington, D.C.
20037 Services to be acquired: Washington Alert On-line Retrieval
Services, inclusive of subscription fees, network time, connect time,
printing, and access charges. Separate delivery orders will be issued
for any and all associated hardware/software purchases and/or leases.
No solicitation document will be issued as a result of this synopsis.
