The VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) will make one or multiple awards for solid waste removal at the VA Dallas and/or VA Bonham medical facilities. The anticipated start date of the contract(s) is 10/01/97 and shall be for a basic period of 12 months with two options allowing the VA to unilaterally extend the contract for a period of 12 months for each option period. Offerors are advised that the contract will require the contractor to provide stationary compacting units, self contained compactors, roll-off containers, closable containers and all maintenance and repair services on contractor owned equipment.
