Robinson (410) 997-6225 The United States Postal Service is solicitating proposals for the construction of a new Postal Facility. The work includes but is not limited to, site work, utilities, structures, finishes, mechanical, electrical, roofing, plumbing, and related work to construct a new 15,600 SF postal facility on a 2.78 acre site, located on the East side of State Route 534 about .13 miles north of State Route 84 in Geneva Ohio. To be considered responsive the contractor/proposer must have a minimum of 10 years as a general contractor and previous experience on similar type projects. Other requirements include the following: Successful completion and favorable references for similar projects and financial stability. The proposals will be evaluated in the areas listed in descending order of importance: (1) cost/price, (2) previous experience, (3) references and (4) financial stability. The award will be made on the offer determined to be in the best interest of the Postal Service. The estimated price range is between $1,500,000 and $2,250,000 with completion within 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM on August 29, 1997. Plans and specifications will be availabe on or about August 8, 1997 at a cost of $80.00 per set, Non-Refundable.
