The subject projects consists of upgrading existing substations 1 & 2 to accommodate the new feeder circuits and capacitors for power factor corrections. Upgrade of approximately 12 miles of 2.4 KV distribution line to 12.47 KV distribution including swithing 3 wire system to new 4 wire grounded system, new poles (Approx. 900 poles) and crossarms/insulators, existing conductors plus a new nutral. Replace approximately 137 2.4 KV primary transformer with 12.47 KV primary transformer. Removal of PCB transformers. Demolition of three substations. Additionally, the project includes the integration of a breaker remote control system for the Arsenal's electrical distribution system. The estimated cost range for this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Completion date is 540 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
