This solicitation invites proposals for our Main Post Office located at 250 Mayfield Drive, Smyrna, TN for an addition of approximately 12,000 sq. ft. of floor space with approximately 2,000 SF of covered exterior area. Work includes chainlink fence, site work, utilities, carpentry, HVAC, paving, painting, electrical, roof and other related work. During the expansion, the present Post Office will stay in operation so construction will be phased and contractor will be required to coordinate and phase work inorder to not interfere with Postal operations. A TWENTY PERCENT (20%) PROPOSAL BOND IS REQUIRED WITH EACH PROPOSAL. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS WILL BE REQUIRED FROM THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR.
