Renovation & Upgrade of Barracks Buildings 4210, 4211 and 4213,
Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Project will be advertised as a
Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be awarded as an Indefinite
Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a two (2) year Base
Period and four (4) Option Years. The total estimated cost of
construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Construction
consists of new standing seam, metal roofing, room renovation,
replacement of existing windows, new kitchenette and cabinets, new
finishes, stair repairs, new electrical services, telephone, CATV,
installation of new fire alarm system, renovation of HVAC and plumbing
systems. Site work includes installation of new 4.16 KV to 120/208
volts, 225 KVA transformer for each building, free-standing mail boxes,
and sidewalk repair/replacement. Competitive proposals will be
evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the
solicitation package. All responsible sources may submit a proposal
which will be considered. In order to comply with the Debt Collection
Improvement Act of 1996, effective October 1, 1997, all contractors
must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be
