This work includes replacing the Building 58 cooling tower and chillers with a new air-cooled chiller; renovating Imaging Service; installing a new IV Prep room in Pharmacy Service; reworking the HVAC on the first and third floors of Building 58; and upgrading physical security in designated areas throughout the medical center. All work is to be done in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. The construction cost range for this procurement is between $1 million and $2 million. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1711. All requests for bid packages shall be in writing addressed to the Contracting Officer (90C) and be accompanied by a $25 non-refundable bid deposit made payable to the Chief, Fiscal Service (04). Only fifty (50) bid packages will be made available to bidders on a first-come first-served basis. There will be a pre-bid conference on August 27, 1997 at 10:00 A.M.
