The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm fixed price provisioned item order under contract N00019-96-C-0100 with AIL Systems Inc., to procure interim spares to support the AN/ALQ-99 Universal Exciter Upgrade (UEU). AIL Systems Inc., is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the AN/ALQ-99 UEU and the only known source with the technical expertise and data necessary to build the interim spares in time to meet program schedule requirements.
