The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene for a modification to Contract No. N01AA10007. The Statutory authority for negotiating this non-competitive requirement is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) under FAR reference 6.302-1. The purpose of the proposed modification is to conduct analyses that replicate site-specific studies in the multi-site RREP database, illuminate issues or answer questions raised by initial RREP studies, develop additional data related to relapse prediction and prevention, and assess the quality of the RREP multi-site database. Only investigators at the three RREP sites have the knowledge of and access to the site-specific versions of instruments and protocols required for these analyses.
