HUD intends to award a contract to perform on-site single family field review of appraisals on an as-needed basis for the HUD Cincinnati, Ohio office. The contractor shall be a State certified appraiser. The reviews will examine the accuracy and quality of FHA appraisals performed by authorized appraisers. Some reviews will require interior examinations of the properties. One contract will cover geographic area within the jurisdiction of Dayton, Ohio. Offerors must demonstrate experience with valuation principles and procedures and the capacity to perform the estimated quantity of reviews. RFPs will be available on or about 15 days and proposals will be due on or about 45 days from the date of this notice. The RFP number is R-CHI-00088. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 6531. See numbered Note 1. The contract period is for one year from the date of award, with two one-year options to extend the term of the contract.
