Hill (214) 302-7522 This solicitation shall be issued as a Request For Quotations and in accordance with the provisions of FAR Part 12, Acquisition Of Commercial Items. The VA North Texas Health Care System, Dallas medicl facility, anticipates a sole source contract award to Wasteflo, d/b/a Wastenet of Texas for the provision of solid waste compactor monitoring and associated notification services from a site off station. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to provide and install all associated equipment and materials to provide the services. It is anticipated that the contract start date will be 10/01/97 for a basic 12 month period with two options that allows the VA to unilaterally extend the contract by 12 months each.
