S -- PROVIDE SHELF STOCKING, CUSTODIAL, AND RECEIVING/STORAGE/HOLDING AREA SERVICES FOR THE FORT LEONARD WOOD COMMISSARY LOCATED AT WAYNESVILLE, MISSOURI SOL DECA01-97-R-0067 DUE 092997 POC Contracting Officer Mark Atkinson (804) 734-8387 (Site Code DECA01) This solicitation implements OMB Circular A-76, Acquiring Commercial or Industrial Products and Services Needed by the Government. The scope of work and level of performance as delineated in the solicitation are to be priced by the Government as well as interested commercial small business concerns. The decision to award a contract will be based on a cost comparison which determines whether the work can more economically be performed by contract contractor or Federal employees. Services required include the furnishing of all personnel, equipment, services and supplies to perform shelf stocking, custodial, and receiving/storage/holding area services for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) commissary store located at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Missouri in accordance with the Government's Performance Work Statement (PWS). The anticipated base period is March 1,1998 through February 28, 1999 and includes four (4) one-year option periods. No previous history for contractor performed services exists atthis location. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. THE STANDARD INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION NUMBER IS 7389 AND THE BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD IS $5.0 MILLION. VENDORS MUST INDICATE THEIR BUSINESS SIZE ON EACH REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION. This solicitation will be issued on or about August 29, 1997, with a tentative closing date of September 29, 1997.
