The work includes but is not limited to, demolition of an existing building, site work, utilities, structures, finishes, mechanical, electrical, roofing, plumbing, and related work to construct a new 6,500 SF postal facility on a two acre site, located south of Route 6N near the intersection of Shelhamer St. and 6N in Edinboro PA. To be considered responsive the contractor/proposer must have a minimum of 5 years as a general contractor and previous experience on similar type projects. Other requirements include the following: Successful completion and favorable references for similar projects and financial stability. The proposals will be evaluated in the areas listed in descending order of importance: (1) cost/price, (2) previous experience, (3) references, and (4) financial stability. The award will be made on the offer determined to be in the best interest of the Postal Service. The estimaated price range is between $500,000 and 1,000,000 with completion within 240 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM on September 5, 1997. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 8, 1997 at a cost of $60.00 per set, Non-Refundable.
