This project consists of repairing concrete decks of six bridges. The damage on 5 bridges consists mainly of cracks originating at the rail post bases and continuing to the near edge of the concrete decks. The sixth bridge has an area of concrete delamination in the middle of a lane. The bridges are located on Prince of Wales Island, on the Thorne Bay Ranger District. Five bridges are located on the north end of the island, approximately 125 miles from Hollis, Alaska and 10 miles from Labouchere Bay, Alaska. The sixth bridge is located approximately 4 miles from Coffman Cove, Alaska. Prince of Wales Island is accessible from Ketchikan, Alaska, by boat, plane, or Alaska Marine Highway to Hollis, Alaska. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract time is 120 calendar days. Simplified Acquisition Procedures apply to this project.
