The Social Security Administration requires contractor services to removed old carpet and install Government furnished new carpet tiles and contractor furnished vinyl tiles on the 4th floor of the Harold Washington Social Security Center, 600 West Madison Street, Chicago, Illinois 60661. The successful contractor will be required to provide all material (except Government furnished carpet tile), labor management, supervision, tools and equipment necessary to complete the task specified in the solicitation. Approximate area to be carpeted and tiled is 5,574 suare meters. Contractor will be required to move some furniture and other equipment during performance of this contract. Work will be performed only during evening hours. A general site visit and walk-through for all bidders will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 1997 at 10:00 AM.
