Kendrick, Contracting Officer (540) 983-1048 Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, and qualified supervision to furnish and install a new concrete manhole, new underground 30-inch concrete storm water piping, and a new concrete outfall at the VA Medical Center, Salem, Virginia. The Contractor shall extend the existing rip-rap storm drain outfall at the southeast corner of the medical center grounds. The drain shall be extended to allow discharge water to flow in a direction parallel to the existing railroad tracks. A new precast manhole shall be installed at the tie-in to the existing outfall. A new 30-inch diameter concrete pipe shall connect the manhole to the new concrete outfall. A new rip-rap will be installed at the new outfall. The grades and site work shall be restored when the work is completed, to include re-seeding. The construction estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is unrestricted.
