COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF AUGUST 4,1997 PSA#1901NOAA/Systems Acquisition Office (SAO), 1315 E. W. Highway, Mail Code
SAOX2, Silver Spring, MD 20910 59 -- VHF ANTENNA MARKET SURVEY/RFI FOR NOAA/IPO: CLARIFICATION OF
7/18 CBD SOL RFI: JM/IPO/VHF DUE 081597 POC Jay W. Moore, NOAA/IPO,
8455 Colesville Road, RM 1450, Mail Stop E/IPO, Silver Spring, MD
20910; 301-427-2126x112 E-MAIL: Contracting Officer,
jmoore@ipo.noaa.gov. This is a FOLLOW-UP to the market survey and
request for information (RFI), which appeared in the CBD on July 18,
Category 59, requesting pricing and products for VHF antennae to
support polar, sun synchronous satellites owned by the U. S.
Government, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
This is a solicitation for information or planning purposes under FAR
52.215-3. Potential interested vendors are encouraged to contact the
POC directly to solicit any questions, via internet:
jmoore@ipo.noaa.gov, or to call Howard Kea at 301-427-2080, ext. 149.
The Government also encourages potential vendors to submit budgetary
pricing data for planning purposes. This CBD hereby clarifies the
previous CBD survey requirement of 7/18/97. Any changes made by this
clarification replace the previous information. CLARIFICATIONS:
Interested vendors may propose separate uplink and downlink antennae.
The following antenna specifications are pulled from the TIROS-N
Satellite -Ground System, Interface Control Document, as amended. (I).
