Langwinski (254) 288-9595, Contracting Officer Ted Panknin (254) 288-1305 (Site Code DATM01) The U.S. Army's OPTEC Contracting Activity has a requirement for a Turn-key Security System. Method of procurement will be Firm-Fixed Price for installation, with Cost Plus Fixed Fee capabilities for operation and maintenance. The system will encompass approximately 12 buildings with approximately 30 cameras, 20 keycard door controllers, and associated video recorders, switches, monitors, and computer interface equipment. Installation of the system shall include all wiring for power and communication requirements. Warranty maintenance shall be required for FY98. Operator training will be required. 2 ea one-year maintenance option periods will be included. Additional options may include: cameras, monitors, metal detectors, keycard controllers, computer upgrades or replacements, and additional hardware.
