The Tennessee Valley Authority is seeking sources for a software product that will manage software configurations for distributed application systems that are either built in-house or purchased from a vendor. The sought software product must provide a controlled management environment for storing and coordinating software changes in distributed test, acceptance and production environments. The software product to be obtained must have the following capabilities: 01. The product must be available for PC and UNIX platforms using Solaris, SunOS, HPUX, NT, and Windows 95 operating systems; be compatible with TCP/IP, IPX for Novell, and SNA. 02. Must be administered centerally. 03. Must be able to convert from SCCS, ENDEVOR MVS, and Visual SourceSafe. 04. Must be able to store source in binary and text; using C++, FORTRAN, Microfocus COBOL, PowerBuilder, Oracle Designer, SAS, and Non-procedural language SQL. 05. Must maintain a record of each add, delete, change or access with the User ID. 06. Must have a rigid security process. 07. Stage to stage migration 08. Online approvals 09.
